Kadlec Architecture + Design
Steve Kadlec is principal of Kadlec Architecture + Design, a Chicago-based design studio specializing in residential architecture and interior design, and corporate and retail interior design. Kadlec started the three person firm – which includes associates Domenica Waslin and Bob Barko – in 2004. Prior to that, he spent nine years at Gary Lee Partners as an associate and studio director for the residential design practice. The studio believes that good design is the successful integration of the client’s functional and budget requirements within a solution that reflects their style and personality. Kadlec is an active member of the American Institute of Architects, and the International Interior Design Association, as well as a board member of DIFFA Chicago, the Design Industries Foundation Fighting Aids.
